The Young People's Division (YPD) under the leadership of the Women's Missionary Society provides meaningful youth training programs and opportunities for leadership experience in all areas of church life. By providing training in Evangelism, Christian Social Relations and Education programs the YPD is designed to connect youth more fully to the mission of church and increase knowledge of the African Methodist Episcopal Church history and the scriptures.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Established October 1915, under the auspices to the Women's Missionary Society of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. You will find African Methodists Episcopal Churches in Caribbean, South America, England and Africa. Y.P.D. units may be found in most local churches throughout the Connection. The Y.P.D. membership is estimated at over 800,000.
The YPD Pledge
I pledge my willing and untiring service to all efforts of the Young People's and Children's Division to aid need and suffering people, regadless of race, color, or creed. I further pledge to take the Bible as my guide, to aid my church, and to attend meetings regularly. In all these task I seek the Savior's guidance.
Purpose
- By providing training in Evangelism, Christian Social Relations and Education programs designed to increase knowledge of the African Methodist Episcopal Church History and the scriptures.
- Facilitate and support opportunities for leadership experiences in the church and society
- Enable growth in stewardship in the church
- Advocate for the integrity of childhood and the dignity of all children and youth in our religious civic and political structure.
- Create linkages, establish work synergies and devise schedules to effectively implement and administer meaningful program and activities for all levels and unites of organization
- Foster a community in which children youths and young adults know each other by name, minister to each other and partner in servicing and witnessing for Jesus Christ.
Lay Organization
The Lay Organization exists for the purpose of instilling in its membership a love and appreciation for the history, tradition and principles of African Methodism. It advocates respect and loyalty to the Pastor, encouraging the support of the all programs of the church in an effort to provide greater knowledge and participation in the church.

Women's Missionary
As women, who are called to discipleship, our mission is to grow in knowledge and to experience God through Jesus Chris. St. Paul is committed to support the mission of Clear Lake AME Church, and being empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are challenged to help one another engage in ministry and action, to grow and respond in faith to God’s redemptive plan for the church, the community and the world.

Music Ministries
Adult Choir
The Adult Choir is composed of adult members participating in the music ministry of St. Paul A.M.E. Church. Under the direction of Minister Elbert Williams II, our mission is to provide impactful and melodious musical messages including Traditional and Contemporary Gospel Music. The Adult Choir participates in the rotation of Sunday morning choirs serving along with the Men’s Choir, and other her major choirs of the church. The choir also accompanies our Pastor on outside engagements and serves to provide a spiritual musical experience for ushering in the spirit through praise and worship!

We invite you to become a part of the St. Paul A.M.E. Youth Choir! Our mission to exalt our heavenly Father by using our musical gifts to sing His praises and spread the Gospel. Our goal is to minister not only to the congregation, but also outside of the walls of the church in hopes that our praises will reach the hearts of the unsaved, especially young people. Through practice, performance, education and commitment we expect to develop Godly character and quality through musical training in an atmosphere of fun and fellowship and with a spirit of excellence!
